Last week I facilitated a conference call with Jo Radner and Teresa Clark the Board chair and vice chair of NSN. About a dozen people have expressed interest in listening to the results of that discussion and 27 people took part in the online conference call environment live.
I am sorry to report that the conference call was not recorded - due to a technical problem or a mistake on my part. I don’t really know why. This has never happened before, where a whole recording was lost, in any of the 60 hours of recorded interviews I have done so far, but – hey their is a first time for everything. I apologize if this is annoying to you – you have no idea how much annoying this is to me.
Just goes to prove my point that you will wish you were there live for the call. In any case, I hope that you will participate if or when we hold another open forum on the future of NSN.

I’m sorry I missed the opportunity to take part in the discussion. I am not signing up because my time at home is not predictable at the present.
On another matter, some time ago I called and was wanting to join Healing Story Alliance without joining NSA. My reason for not wanting to join NSA was because the last time I read the magazine (I use to belong) the offering was one of two things 1) an advertising vehicle for professional tellers 2) a training ground for professionals.
I am not and will never be professional. That is by choise. Even if I had the skill set, I would not want to be paid. That does not make me less of a teller. Storytelling is not just for the best.
I talked to Frankie Wolff at x206 and she said she could send me a sample magazine to see if NSA had improved in the past 10 years before making up my mind. I was to call in January after the change. When I called, a sample was not possible and I couldn’t make connection with Frankie — got someone else.
I would be willing to pay for the sample, but $70 is a lot of money to me to lay out for a product that is unseen and has a speckled past to boot.
Is there anything you can do to solve my problem. If I find that NSA still has the problems of the past, I would like to support Healing Story Alliance at least, since I find their site very helpful. We are all injured and in search of healing.
